On May 15, 2019, The First Thailand International Student After-school Class Program of Southwest University of Political Science and Law was held in Tahota (Chongqing) Law Firm, and three students from Thailand Chieng Mai University had attended the study. Lawyer Yuan Jingsong- the senior partner of our firm, Zeng Hanzhi Partner and Lawyer, several full-time lawyers from the International Business Department and Young Lawyer Development Committee, and the team lawyers had undertaken the warmly welcome and carried out the theme sharing and forum.

     Since the activity had begun, Zeng Hanzhi Lawyer expressed the welcoming speech to the visiting Thailand foreign students, and introduced this joint cultivation project of Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Tahota (Chongqinng) Law Firm. Later, Lawyer Luo Yingfu had given a short overview on the foreign-related legal services to Tahota, especially the legal services concerning Thailand. After that, Li Xiyu Lawyer opened the first after-school class with the theme as “Lawyer Team Cultivation and Lawyer Business Cooperation”.

      At last, under the hosting of Lawyer Yuan Jingsong, a wonderful and profound round-table forum was started. The overseas students Ella and KaoW had separately introduced the class setting, the system of gaining the legal occupational qualification and other information of Law College of Chiang Mai University. The overseas student OPasatorn, who preferred the history more, had communicated with Lawyer Yuan Jingsong about the history of the Three Kingdoms. At the same time, several lawyers to teach the foreign students had carefully listened to the learning demands of the foreign students and presented the idea of giving them lessons at the same time. The foreign students all expressed to look forwards to the coming classes. The forum was ended in a relaxed and exciting atmosphere.

      This Thailand International Student After-school Class Program of Southwest University of Political Science and Law was sponsored by China- ASEAN Legal Research Center/China-Thailand Legal Reference Center of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, lasting for about one and a half month and aiming at cultivating the China-Thailand legal talents with the practice capacities. Tahota (Chongqing) Law Firm would actively attend the after-school class opening, strengthen the cooperation with Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and cultivate the young to serve “The Belt and Road” construction by starting from the practice angle.
